INFO I391 Internship in Informatics is for students who would like to gain credit for completing an internship experience that is related to informatics.
Student can count up to three credit hours of INFO-I390 (Undergraduate Independent Study), INFO-I391 (Internship in Informatics Professional Practice), or INFO-I389 ServeIT Internship in Informatics) towards their requirement for 9 credit hours at the 300/400 level with the approval of the Director of Undergraduate Studies. Please see the relevant bulletin for up to date information. The approval process to register and receive credit is independent of the approval given by the Director of Undergraduate Studies for counting the credit hours towards any specific degree requirements.

Prerequisites
Students interested in completing an INFO I391 Internship in Informatics must meet the following criteria:
- Be certified into the school as an Informatics major.
- Have completed INFO I101, INFO I201, and INFO I202.
- Be in good standing.
Internship Requirements
The internship must be clearly related to informatics. The applicant should describe how the internship relates to informatics and how the internship will add to their experience in and understanding of informatics in the application.Application Process
